Anyone remember Okey Unblocked? Remember the showcase channel? Yeah, me neither. Hopefully, you will remember this one though.
Welcome to The Okey Collective Blog! As the subtitle says, we are a group of professionally un-professional game devs makin some games. Our community is based on Discord, but I figured it was time to make something new. Then I made a newsletter. Then I got the issue of not having anywhere to actually post that newsletter in a way that is easy to access, then I got the idea of making this blog!
You can find mainly two things in here:
The Okey Communique
One-stop shop for all news in Okey. This is a biweekly newsletter that aims to summarize what has happened in the server in the last two weeks. Handy if you fear missing out on project updates or if you sometimes forget what channel you have or haven’t read! This is not a replacement to the zine ideas, rather something to complement it.
The Okey Library & Archives
A library containing links to our members’ released projects and server
projects. If you’re a member and wish to have your release added to this or if
you’d rather not have your stuff shown, please DM me or Nicole about it.
The Okey Archive is the same thing, but it instead has links to our old Okey Jams and Zines (even the unfinished ones).
Joining
There is also a link to join our Discord Server in the blog’s header! This is the best way of getting involved with the community.
